Thank you for researching our office regarding supervised visitation, exchange services, and Parenting Classes for you and your child/ren, We understand this may be a difficult time for you and your family, so our goal under California's Access to Visitation Grant Program is to try to support and facilitate your access and visitation with your children.

*We accept all types of case referrals, but we may determine that we may not be able to accept a case if we cannot reasonably ensure safety.*

We Provide the Following

SUPERVISED VISITATION

Contact between a non-custodial party and one or more children in the presence of a neutral third person responsible for observing and ensuring the safety of those involved — while supporting the parent-child relationship. 

SAFE EXCHANGE

Assists in the transfer of the child(ren) from one parent to the other. Supervision is limited to the exchange only. 

PARENTING CLASSES & CASE MANAGEMENT

Parenting and Healthy Relationship Workshops - Includes Certificate upon completion.

STANDARD 5.20 AND FAMILY CODE 3200.5 CERTIFIED

All providers must follow the uniform standards of practice for providers of supervised visitation outlined in standard 5.20 of the California Standards of Judicial Administration and Family Code section 3200.5. The court form Declaration of Supervised Visitation Provider (Form FL-324) which providers fill out to let the court know about their qualifications.

LIVE SCAN / TRUSTLINE REGISTERED

TrustLine uses the California Criminal History System, administered by the Department of Justice, to check the fingerprints of applicants. California’s Child Abuse Central Index also is examined for substantiated child abuse reports, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history records are examined. The California Department of Justice provides updates to ensure the continued eligibility status of a registrant.

SUPERVISED VISITATION NETWORK / CPR CERTIFIED

The Supervised Visitation Network is an international membership network that establishes standards, promotes education and advances professionalism in the field of supervised visitation. Adult/Child First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies and cardiac emergencies for victims.

TIPS FOR NON CUSTODIAL PARENTS

  • Read the court order.

  • Arrive and depart on time.

  • Avoid discussing the court case or terms of the visit with your children.

  • Avoid quizzing your children about the other parent’s activities and relationships.
    Avoid making your children messengers to the other parent.

  • Say brief and positive good-byes to your children when the visit is over.

TIPS FOR CUSTODIAL PARENTS

  • Read the court order.

  • Explain to your children where and when the visits will take place.

  • Have your children ready with anything they will need during the visits.

  • Arrive on time to drop off and pick up your children.

  • Reassure your children that you support them in having a pleasant visit.

  • Avoid quizzing your children about the visit.

  • Avoid making your children messengers to the other parent.
